Reason for not being on air
Well i bet some of you have been wondering where i’ve been, and why i havn’t been on air for the last month and a half. i haven’t had time to set up a play list of music for the show, and havnt had time to do my one hour show…i know…i know i’m making excuses…but i will be on my next show..i just have to call and find out when that is…i just started work again, so i’ve been trying to get into my work mode, and i’m enjoying working again. but i will be back on, and try keep my promice for weekly blogs. the theme song for the show is done from what the local group has said, i have not had the privilege to hear it yet. i hope to soon. i’m really anxious to here it. and look forward to debuting it on my next show. another local group has expressed in writing and recording an outro/ spare intro to the show as well. so i will have 2 intro’s/outros that i will alternate every now and then. so that’s some great news..

Update on Sid
Well i guess this would be a offical first blog from me…i wasn’t able to do the show friday night of November 6, i fell ill with the pig virus…what’s it called?…the swine flu..there we go. but what i caught wasnt as bad…just a few very minor symptoms. so i’ll live. but i will be in for my next scheduled show. I will have some material ready, maybe even have a pre-recorded skit. just need to borrow a mic to record them..but first need a short script, cuz every good skit needs a good script…so i’ll be working on scripts for funny short skits to throw into the mix that way i don’t need to keep on the stand up comedians, and have some local comedy instead. the 3 minute news segment will be prepped more, as well a talking skit on what i will be saying. and soon i will be throwing in quick punch lines into the 3 minute news to bump up the show into more a satircal news show of some sort. but any ways, i better go get some rest, wish me that i get better sooner then later. to all of u who have contracted the swine (H1N1) get well soon as well. In this show…as usual great songs. i messed up on the 3 minute news segment, as well on the recording, intro and first song are not present on this podcast. announced that i will be changing the direction of the news segment to a satirical direction to lighten the news. hope you enjoy the show, had a few stand up comedy skits played. sorry for not keeping up with the weekly blogs that i said i was going to do, had prior engagements that kept me busy last week. check back in the next few days for a possible blog.

Another great show, sorry for not being in couple weeks back, but i’m back with a great list of songs for the show. debuted a new show segment where i list out top headlines of news around the world, tonight i set a limit at the end of the segment at 3 minutes and 3 seconds with the news segment. so from now on when doing the segment i will be keeping it under 3 minutes. the news headlines are usually varied from top headlines to lesser known news. also another segment was given a try. dealing with celebrity outburts throughout the years. one celebrity was crowned winner for having the worst possible outburst. listen to show to determine the victor. more possible segments like this will continue with different topics each time. but it’s uncertain. the segment which will remain will be the news segment. i hope you enjoy the show. tune in every two weeks for Sid’s Unplugged on CHLS 100.5FM

just a quick update for unplugged. 2 local artists have contacted me and said they are in the works of recording a theme song to be used for Unplugged! how awesome is that? the new theme will debut in the coming shows when it is completed. it is breast cancer awarness i believe, so go out and support the fight against breast cancer! i will be doing weekly blog updates on here just to keep my self busy and so you listeners/readers of this website have some thing interesting to read, just read some thing entirely random! unlike my show, i will keep it PG on here…Laughs yes i’m telling the truth…this time. so thanks for reading and hope you enjoy listening to the podcasts.

Here is my second show that i did on September 11th. I did a moment of Silence in memory of those who lost their lives during the terrible events of 9/11 years ago. in the show lies a great list of songs new and old. mostly new. just a reminder that listeners discretion is advised in some songs and skits.
