Michael Hawes - Single - Graveyard Train

Ladies & Gentlemen: Please enjoy my first musical recording done here in Lillooet. It is my cover of Creedence Clearwater’s song from their 1969 album Bayou Country. It’s called Graveyard Train and was written by John Fogerty.

I adapted the lyrics for translation into Swedish and changed the tempo to a slower roll. All the instruments are played by me and consist of my Yamaki guitar, an East Indian clay-pot drum and my trusty, rusty Hohner key of A Blues Harp.

A few other sound fx were made on my computer with the help of my cat. Sometimes even Vikings get the blues. The first few seconds are the voice of Japan’s Saori Yuki from her song, Yoake No Scat.

Your rendition of that song is awesome! I have never heard anything like it before. Viking blues! Great harmonica work.
