Born and raised in SW Ontario, Wayne has traveled extensively throughout North America, Europe and parts of Asia. He moved to the Alberta Rockies nearly ten years ago and has a keen interest in all aspects of mountaineering. He is a professionally accredited and licensed Hiking and Backpacking Guide, Level 1 White Water Canoe Instructor and a professional level Interpreter. Wayne moved to Lillooet in August of 2008 with his wife Tracey, and dog Yoho, and currently works as a “Teacher-on-Call for Lillooet schools.
Wayne says “My hobbies are photography, gardening, the study of local flora and geology and now …. hosting “Electric Grove” on Radio Lillooet.
